Why we built TownVue

Hey there! We're Letitia & Tad. We know firsthand what it takes to keep a small business up and running. We've always wanted to support the small businesses around us too and it keeps getting harder. Finding the business down the street or the event someone mentioned in passing turned into an hour of scrolling past ads and sponsored posts. Between a cluttered internet and social media feeds that show whoever paid the most or the algorithm that thinks it knows you, the places we wanted to support got harder to find every year.

Now searching is changing again. More people ask an AI assistant who to call and the assistant can only recommend what it can read. Businesses without an agency budget were about to fall even further behind.

So we built something specifically for small businesses to be able to compete without breaking their marketing budget or their back by doing the latest dancing trend. TownVue has no ads and nobody pays to be first. It's free for neighbors and every listing is written so AI assistants can read it on every plan. It's a home for your town's information where a small shop gets the same fair shot as anyone else.
